Happy feast of St. Nicholas!

Thanks be to God and Our Lady of Good Success, the writing of the Tournament Trial Trilogy’s side story: In God’s Name Forward Go: To the Dragon’s Mouth is now 95% complete! Brainstorming for this story had gone so well, that when it finally came time to organize the notes into an outline format, I quickly realized that I could begin at once to tidy them into actual story format. Christine, meanwhile, continued to contribute lots of additional helpful details that filled it out even more. These last few days Renae has been reading through the whole written document to help further smooth everything out and insert still more special touches to the scenes. All that remains is for us to go through a few last questions and then the writing process will be done. It has been another terrific team effort. — As a gift for St. Nicholas’ feast day, a sample of the cover image for To the Dragon’s Mouth can be viewed by clicking on the new Tournament Trials Side Story tab in the Navigation Menu via Titles.

In September, my dear Editor was happily able to resume work on another of my completed stories and thus the Sixth Volume of the Catholic Once Upon a Time Series: Additional Once Upon a Time Stories has at last passed the first stage of editing! Renae and I have begun the next phase of editing for this story and the Catholic Colonies Series.

Lastly, I would like to give an update about my next writing project by announcing that the miniseries has once again been temporarily put on hold . . . because I have had yet another new, exciting story idea! It is something that I have been mulling over since early 2023, but it was only a few months ago that I really began to want to think more about the potential story’s plot. Fairly soon, though, I hit upon what I believed would be a major stumbling-block, and consulted with Renae late on October 9th. The following morning, we neatly solved the problem and, since then, have devoted much of our time to brainstorming for the new story. As my notes are currently in a terrible jumble, we intend to make a special presentation of a more organized outline to Christine for Christmas. I have added the new story to Titles in the Navigation Menu and the cover images can be viewed by clicking on Through Roses and Thorns: The Conquest of a Nation. Although it is a standalone novel, it has been divided into four volumes due to the ever-increasing amount of notes. Christine was, incredibly, able to find four separate paintings that — although the work of three different artists — perfectly match each other, and beautifully capture the feel of the story. I am extremely pleased with them!

I do hope to be able to make more of my books available for sale in the New Year, God willing. Thank you for all of your kind prayers and continued patience as Our Team works on a score of varying projects.

Sancte Nicolae, ora pro nobis!
