Happy Paschaltide!
I have a lot of exciting news and updates to share on this most lovely feast of Divine Mercy.
1stly, largely due to the super-determined efforts of my dear youngest sister Renae, Phase 2 & Phase 3 editing of the four-part Catholic Colonies Series was successfully completed in record timing (an incredible two weeks!!) right at the start of Lent. I’m really happy with how well it went and look forward to making these books available to Readers later this summer.
I am in the midst of Phase 4 editing for the Catholic Colonies Series. During this month of April, I intend to format the ebooks for all four parts. So far, I have completed Parts 1 & 2 and am currently working on Part 3. Next month, God willing, I will begin the more time-consuming process of formatting the paperback editions. I hope to have the entire Series ready for release in both formats by July 2026 (God willing), but at the very least, I will be able to make all of the ebooks available at that time, and I will have as many paperbacks as possible ready for publication by then. Look forward to it! ;o)
2ndly, I am thrilled to announce that my dear Editor-in-Chief finished Phase 1 editing of Final Once Upon a Time Stories and promptly moved on to Phase 1 editing of Volume Ten in the Catholic Once Upon a Time Series: After Once Upon a Time Stories (a fun Thumbelina retelling). She astonishingly completed this 300-page book in an unheard-of record of only ONE DAY, and is now already over halfway through with editing After Once Upon a Time Stories, pt. 2!! Yay! Words cannot express how exceedingly delighted I am at this unexpected speedy progress! ;oD
God willing, Renae and I intend to tackle Final’s Phase 2 & 3 editing some time later this fall…
3rdly, More Once Upon a Time Stories has been republished as a 2nd Edition Paperback, with its new ISBN, improved formatting, slightly-altered cover design, and some minor edits. Hurrah! The book trailer can be viewed HERE on IG.
I next hope to have Even More Once Upon a Time Stories ready for republication by the end of April (God willing).
4thly, since my original republishing project has become a much longer, ongoing process, and a nice, growing, bundle of books has been happily added to the editing “queue,” I have decided to create a whole new webpage solely dedicated to providing editing, formatting/reformatting, and republishing updates. This new Author Updates page can be accessed via a picture link on the Homepage, and by clicking HERE; I will also provide a link to it on my July 24th, 2025, Note from the Author, which is where I was formerly giving regular updates on these projects.
Please note that I am making another needed improvement to my website, concerning chapter samples. Formerly, I had uploaded these page samples as individual images. But now, I intend to provide them in the form of PDF files, which I believe will enable Readers to (hopefully) view the text with greater ease. ;o)
5thly, I will soon be turning my main focus to writing my new “Christmas story”: the fun, neat standalone novel, Tomorrow I Shall Come. Please pray that the writing process will go smoothly and speedily!!
(And lastly, due to already having so many creative, editing, and formatting/reformatting projects lined up for this year, the side project which I have mentioned in past IG posts has been put on hold until either this Christmas or February 2027, God willing…)
May God bless and Mary keep you throughout this joyous Easter Season and always! “He is risen.” “Indeed He is risen, Alleluia!”
